I feel like I NEED to let you guys in on this secret. Well, it’s not really a secret, but it’s a MUST KNOW for anyone who’s into healthy eating, non-toxic skincare, eco-friendly living, and basically living a balanced lifestyle.

I have two words for you:

The best way for me to describe Thrive Market is that it’s the love child of Costco and Whole Foods. What do I mean by that? Well, it offers wholesale prices (like Costco) on high quality health products (like Whole Foods). But the best part is, it’s all online!

I joined Thrive back in April and have since made two large purchases. I’ve gotten everything from food, to skincare products, to eco-friendly/zero-waste lifestyle products…and I’m already beyond breaking even with my membership fee!

See, here’s how it works: you pay $60 a year to be a member with Thrive (it’s the same as paying an annual membership fee at Costco, BJ’s, Sam’s Club, etc.) and you get access to their amazing selection of products.

They offer free shipping on all orders over $50. And the best part is, if you shop through my affiliate link (here! or click photo below) you get 25% off your first order (and free shipping no matter the amount) AND Thrive will donate a membership for free to a family in need, so they can have access to healthier food options at lower prices!Coupon for 25% off at Thrive Market

Not sure you want to take the plunge? You can also try out their 30 day free trial to see if it’s for you. That’s what I did, and it got me hooked!

Types of Products You Can Buy

The links in this post are affiliate links. If you purchase anything through them, I will receive a small commission, at no extra cost to you, that will help me continue to bring you blog content!
Food from Thrive MarketLike I said above, I buy the same things at Thrive as I would have bought at Whole Foods, but they’re a lot cheaper! For reference, here are some products I buy a lot:

As you can see, I save over 30% on some of my most frequently bought products! Depending on the specific product, savings can be lower or higher, but every single item is discounted!

The most satisfying part is that Thrive shows you exactly how much you’re saving on each product, and then gives you your total savings at the end, PLUS your projected annual savings (if you continue your spending pattern). You’ll be shocked at the amount you can save! It all adds up, and every penny counts.

This was my savings report from a $66 purchase – if I had shopped at a retail store, I would have spent $100!

User-friendly Online Shopping

I am a HUGE fan of online shopping, so being able to do a lot of my food shopping online is awesome for me. Thrive’s website makes shopping so easy because it is incredibly user-friendly. You can sort products in a variety of different ways to quickly find the products you need (although I could spend hours searching through all of their amazing products!).

The main shop categories are:

And each of these categories has a bunch of subcategories (like under food there is “condiments & sauces,” “bars, cereals & granola,” and “coffee & tea,” and under beauty/bath/body there is “hair care,” “facial care,” and “body care”).

Plus, not only does Thrive offer a huge selection of healthy food options (everything from spices, to oils, to snacks, to pastas – all non-GMO, by the way! And with many organic options) but they make it super easy to find food items that fit with your specific diet or lifestyle!

You can shop for specific diets, like:

Thrive Gives Back

Ok, so we’ve established that I love this company because of the affordable, healthy products they offer in such a convenient way, but the icing on the cake is that Thrive is also a philanthropic company! As I mentioned earlier, when you buy a Thrive membership (which you can do here), they will also donate one to a low income family, teacher, veteran, or student. Along with the membership, Thrive gives them educational content and grocery stipends to help them live their healthiest lives.

I recently got a huge haul of healthy snacks to take with me on vacation (heading to the Cape next week!!) and I’m ordering another haul today! For anyone who is keeping up with my GI issues, the latest suggestion was to try a low FODMAP diet (there will probably be more on this in a future post)…so I have to order lots of gluten free goodies and other sort of “out there” products that would surely cost me a pretty penny at health food stores – but not at Thrive!

Don’t forget that you can get 25% off your first order + free shipping when you sign up here!
